Phra Pathommachedi
A vast orange-tiled stupa in the centre of Nakhon Pathom, its spire reaching 120.45 metres, which makes it the second tallest stupa in the world. It stands within a royal wat, ringed by cloisters and smaller shrines.

A palace complex built by King Vajiravudh about a kilometre from Phra Pathommachedi. Its five buildings in Thai and European styles sit among gardens with a Ganesh shrine, and part of the grounds has been a Silpakorn University campus since 1965.
