What is LOQAH?
LOQAH is a free travel passport app for iPhone and Android. 4,793 places in 21 countries, India, Thailand, United States, United Kingdom, Japan and more each have LOQAH's carefully crafted stamp, collected by standing there and kept in a volume for every state.
How it works
- Find a place. Near me shows the stamps around you; All stamps lists every place by state, on a list or a map.
- Stand there and get the stamp. LOQAH checks where you are once, at that moment. At the place, the stamp is on-site confirmed, in gold, and struck with the date.
- It goes on your shelf. Each state you collect in gets a volume of its own, its pages filled in the order you went.
Three kinds of stamp
Every stamp carries a badge that says how it was collected.
- On-site confirmed (gold): collected at the place itself.
- Confirmed from travel records (copper): matched from your Google Timeline.
- Self-confirmed (silver): added from memory, on your word.
Earlier trips
Places you went to before the app count too. In Earlier trips, choose a state and swipe through its stamps: Been there or Not yet. Or import your Google Timeline: the file is read on your phone, matched against the catalogue within a kilometre, and only the matches are added.
Rank and points
Every stamp earns points: 10 on-site confirmed, 4 self-confirmed, more for rarer places, 8 for a first stamp in a new state and 15 for a new part of a country. Ranks run from Wayfarer to Grand Custodian.
Friends
Invite a friend with a link or your passport number, open each other's passports, and see every stamp they collect. Any stamp can be shared as a card, your photo from the day with the stamp on it.
The name
LOQAH is spelled with a Q. People also search for it as Loka, Lokah, Lokha, Loqa and Loqha; they all mean this app.

Does LOQAH track my location?
No. It asks where you are once, when you collect a stamp, and does not follow you in the background.
Is LOQAH free?
Yes. LOQAH is free on the App Store and Google Play.
Is LOQAH a real passport?
No. It is a keepsake, a record of the places you have visited. It is made by a private company, is not connected to any government, and cannot be used to cross a border.
