Old Faithful 30 km
A cone geyser in Yellowstone, named in 1870 and the first in the park to be given a name. It erupts on average about every 92 minutes, regular enough that crowds gather on the benches around it to wait, with the great log inn of the same name close by.
Grand Teton National Park 87 km
The sharp peaks of the Teton Range rise straight out of the valley of Jackson Hole here, with no foothills in between. The park lies about 16 km south of Yellowstone, and together with the forests around them they form one of the largest intact temperate ecosystems on Earth.

A Hindu temple dedicated to Radha and Krishna, built for the Hindu community of Utah County. It holds weekly services for prayer and meditation and a calendar of seasonal festivals, the best known being the spring Festival of Colors, a Holi celebration that draws huge crowds.
Glacier National Park 526 km
More than 4,000 square kilometres of northwestern Montana on the Canadian border, taking in parts of two mountain ranges and more than 130 named lakes. It sits at the heart of the region called the Crown of the Continent, and the Going-to-the-Sun Road climbs across it over Logan Pass.
Crazy Horse Memorial 554 km
A mountain carving still in progress in the Black Hills, which will show the Oglala Lakota leader on horseback, pointing to his tribal land.
