Bath · England · Well known

  • Castle Combe 44 km

Castle Combe · England · Well known

A small Wiltshire village of honey-coloured stone cottages, about 8 km north-west of Chippenham and 16 km north-east of Bath. Its parish counted just 356 people at the 2021 census, and it is often called the prettiest village in England.

  • Glastonbury Tor 61 km

Glastonbury · England · Well known

A lone hill above Glastonbury, crowned by the roofless tower of St Michael's Church. Old stories tie it to King Arthur and the isle of Avalon, and the climb gives wide views over the flat Somerset Levels.

  • Osborne House 62 km

East Cowes · England · Well known

A summer home built between 1845 and 1851 for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert on the Isle of Wight. Albert designed it himself in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo, and the family's rooms remain much as they knew them, with a private beach below.
