Perdana Putra
The office complex of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, on the main hill of Putrajaya. Its great green dome and long colonnaded front look down a wide boulevard and over the lake, and the building has come to stand for the federal government itself.

Putra Mosque
The principal mosque of Putrajaya, completed in 1999, its dome built of rose-tinted granite. It stands on the edge of Putrajaya Lake beside the square in front of the Prime Minister's office, and its minaret rises straight from the water's edge.

Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque
Known as the Iron Mosque for its frame of steel, with a fine white mesh in place of solid walls. It was completed in 2009 opposite the Palace of Justice and opened in 2010 by the king whose name it carries.
