Chronicle of Georgia

Sixteen bronze pillars, 30 to 35 metres tall, at the top of a long stairway on Keeni Hill near the Tbilisi Sea. The sculptor Zurab Tsereteli began it in 1985 and never quite finished: kings, queens and heroes fill the upper halves, the life of Christ the lower.
